Sickle Cell Disease/Thalassemia


H14539; Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation from HLA Matched Unrelated Donors for Patients with Severe Homozygous B 0/+ Thalassemia or Severe Variants of B 0/+ Thalassemia:  This study uses a monoclonal antibody and high dose chemotherapy in combination with allogeneic (unrelated) stem cell transplantation to treat patients with Thalassemia.

H16447; Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplantation from HLA Identical Related Donors for Patients wth Hemoglobinopathies: Hemoglobin SS, Hemoglobin SC, or Hemoglobin SB0/+ Thallassemia:  This study uses a monoclonal antibody and high dose chemotherapy in combination with allogeneic (related) stem cell transplantation to treat patients with Thallassemia.
