Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant Unit

The Center utilizes the pediatric stem cell transplant facility of the Texas Children's Cancer Center and Hematology Service. Texas Children's Hospital, the largest pediatric cancer center in Texas, is committed to providing the highest quality, family centered care to children, adolescents and young adults. Currently, the 6500 square foot unit is located on the 7th floor of the West Tower.  Construction is underway for a new 16,200 square foot pediatric unit which will be housed on the 8th floor of Texas Children’s Hospital, West Tower. The new unit will contain both the inpatient and outpatient areas.

Through affiliation with Texas Children's Hospital, patients have access to all the pediatric specialties, including radiation therapy, diagnostic imaging and intensive care. This is especially important to transplant patients in the event of secondary complications.
