20 year old woman from Mexico referred for management of gastric
adenocarcinoma
History of the Present Illness:
One year ago the patient presented with epigastric pain and
weight loss and was found to have adenocarcinoma of the stomach. A distal,
partial gastric resection with Bilroth II gastrojejunostomy was performed.
She did well until 2 months ago when she developed epigastric pain, early
satiety, and weight loss. EGD performed in Mexico showed a mass near the gastrojejunostomy.
Biopsies of the mass were said to show adenocarcinoma. She comes to our hospital
