Patient studies
Stress incontinence implant study
Women suffering from stress incontinence are needed for a study testing a new device designed to stop urinary leakage.
Doctors at Baylor College of Medicine are using Attenuex, a nonsurgical implant that is put into the bladder through the water channel and acts as a stopper for the urethra.
When a woman coughs or does other activities that put pressure on the bladder, the device is pushed down to block the neck of the bladder to prevent leaks.
Women wanted for the study should be 18 or older and in good health. Pregnant woman can not participate. For more information call Sebrina Tello at 713-798-4001.
Volunteers needed for obesity study

You must be available for study-related visits for approximately one year.
If eligible, you will receive medical evaluations, including blood tests and electrocardiograms, weekly nutritional and lifestyle group counseling, investigational medication treatment and visits to the clinic at no charge.
