Ferry receives Murray Davidson Award
George D. Ferry, M.D., professor of pediatrics, has received the 2006 American Academy of Pediatrics and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Murray Davidson Award. The award recognizes an outstanding clinician, educator and scientist who has made significant contributions to the field of pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition.
Ferry has long been an influential leader in this field and is highly respected by his colleagues and patients.
Frieden named to Spinal Cord Injury Hall of Fame
Lex Frieden, professor in the Baylor College of Medicine department of physical medicine and rehabilitation and a senior vice president at The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research, was recently inducted into the 2006 Spinal Cord Injury Hall of Fame.
Formed by the National Spinal Cord Injury Association, the Hall of Fame was created to recognize excellence and honor individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to quality of life and advancements toward a better future for people with spinal cord injuries.
