About Findings

Findings, a monthly online newsletter, spotlights the latest in research, health care and health promotion at Baylor College of Medicine. It is designed to help you, the potential patient, understand what is proven, what is available and who is involved in biomedical science, health care, and research.

Ruth SoRelle, M.P.H., is the editor of Findings. The chief science writer for the BCM Office of Communications, she was medical writer at the Houston Chronicle for 20 years and has worked in the medical field since 1972. The assistant editor is Dana Benson. Gail Sparks serves as editorial assistant.

Lynn Foltin is senior director for Web Management at Baylor and in that role oversees the design and the publication of the monthly newsletter. Ms. Foltin has been a senior communications specialist at Baylor and was formerly lifestyles editor of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. Brian Kinkade is the web designer.
