Student Eligibility Requirements

To receive federal grants, loans or work-study assistance from Baylor College of Medicine, a student must:

Demonstrate financial need (except for unsubsidized Federal Stafford and alternative loans)
Be working toward a degree or certificate
Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
Be making satisfactory academic progress
Be registered with the Selective Service (if required)
Not owe a refund on a federal grant or be in default on a federal educational loan
