Educational Criteria
- The Presidential Award is a competitive (norm-based) award. The criteria requires detailed evidence of breadth and exceptional contributions to education.
- Educational Breadth. This includes but is not limited to: different levels or types of learners; different courses; different styles/formats of teaching; accepted and innovative curricula; internal and external teaching.
- Stellar and enduring educational contributions to the educational mission of the College. These contributions might include, but are not limited to:
- direct teaching
-mentoring
- educational leadership,
- educational committee participation,
- creation of educational materials,
- educational research, and
- all areas of educational scholarship which refers to any material, product or resource originally developed to fulfill a specific educational purpose that has been successfully peer- reviewed and is subsequently made public through appropriate dissemination* for use by others.
