Mission
- To recognize educational achievements and teaching contributions of individual faculty to their departments and to Baylor College of Medicine.
- To promote professional development, innovation, and excellence in education.
- To promote a free exchange of ideas regarding educational theory and methods.
History
The Academy of Distinguished Educators was founded Dec. 7, 2001, by Ralph D. Feigin, M.D., former president and chief executive officer, Baylor College of Medicine.
