The Center's Research Programs
The center is renowned for its comprehensive and original bioethics research. Members of the faculty are particularly interested in issues such as medical futility, the philosophy and history of medicine, genetics and biotechnology, research with human subjects, health management and care, conflicts of interest in research, informed consent, and the ethics of aging, obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatrics. Research in these areas result in original books, articles, and funded projects published either individually or collaboratively with associated faculty or professionals at other institutions.
