About the Mouse ES Cell Core Facility
Advanced technologies are used at the Mouse ES Cell Core Facility to generate genetically engineered mice needed by researchers across the United States who are in pursuit of answers and cures for human disease.
Our facility serves to assist investigators with projects that involve generating mutations in the germ line and somatic tissues of mice by performing homologous recombination in ES cells. The procedures for the manipulation of ES cells and the construction of mice are intensive and technically demanding and it is a goal of the core to make such experiments possible for investigators.
Embryonic Stem Cell Culture Services:
- Electroporation
- ROSA Targeting
- Clone Expansion
- Generation of primary mouse ES cell lines
- Murine Virus Testing
Projects are scheduled on a first-come-first serve basis after approval from the director. Read core guidelines and use the online forms to get started.
