phases of a research project. Possesses a deep understanding and familiarity with all phases of
the research process, including creating and maintaining large databases and datasets using MS
Access and Paradox 5; completing statistical analysis using SPSS, Stata, and SAS for Windows,
research design, grant proposal preparation, interpretation of research results, report writing, and

Essential functions/responsibilities:
- coordinates research database design and creation
- tracks database preparation and supervises data entry
- maintains structural integrity of relational database management
systems
- designs and implements quality assurance procedures
- analyzes and interprets research data in conjunction with project biostatistician
- prepares final technical reports, including results and statistical analysis interpretation
