Current Research


The Center for Research on Women with Disabilities (CROWD) is one of three research centers within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine. Baylor Department of Physical Medicine works collaboratively with the Department of Physical Medicine at University of Texas, Houston. Margaret Nosek, Director of CROWD, is also the director of Research at the Independent Living Research Utilization Program associated with The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR). We are proud of our contribution to the greater understanding of the complex relationship of wellness and disability.
