Biographical Information

Kathy Fire serves as Senior Program Coordinator at the Center for Research on Woman with Disabilities in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center including the maintenance and organization of a comprehensive management information system for attaining research project objectives. Kathy also supervises the work of four support staff members.

Kathy joined the staff in December, 2000, after eleven years at the University of Houston-Clear Lake as Coordinator of Recruiting in the Office of Career & Counseling Services. She coordinated the on-campus interviewing process between the employer community and UHCL students. She also was responsible for the maintenance of a comprehensive database of hundreds of employers, students, and job listings.
