Curriculum
Key Points:
- All required course work can be completed during your first year
- All students are required to complete 30 didactic course hours
- Although there are nine required courses, the rest of the curriculum is very flexible
- Students must take a minimum of one course from each of the six categories of Flexible Required Courses
- There are a wide variety of elective courses to choose from in addition to the courses listed below
- You can take up to five rotations during your first year, before choosing a thesis laboratory (a miniumum of three rotations are required)
- Aging Track students are required to take the Biology of Aging Course
- Cancer Track students are required to take Introduction to Molecular Carcinogenesis
