Sleepiness Following Head Injury (H-24346)
Are you very sleepy? Did the sleepiness start within a year of head injury? Baylor College of Medicine & the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center are conducting a study to evaluate an investigational drug to see if it improves alertness in people with concussion, head injury, brain injury, traumatic head injury, or traumatic brain injury. To qualify you must have suffered a single mild to moderate head injury, be 18 to 65 years old, and currently suffer from sleepiness or fatigue. Participants will receive a physical exam and lab and sleep tests (at no cost) as well as compensation for time and travel.
If you meet the qualifications and you would like to be in this treatment study, call 713-794-7655.
