Laboratory Models of Cocaine Self Administration (H-23131)

We are currently looking for people who use cocaine and smoke cigarettes for our two-phase, 10 day inpatient- inpatient research study. The purpose of this study is to find out if disulfiram, also known as antabuse, can reduce cocaine use and determine safety and effects of disulfiram when used together with cocaine. You will receive either placebo or cocaine and a limited amount of cocaine or placebo, IV. You will have to answer questions about your personal and family psychiatric history, including alcohol and drug abuse. You will be compensated for participating. If you are seeking treatment, you should not participate in this study and the investigators can refer you to organizations that offer treatment for cocaine addiction.
