As director of the Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Research Center at BCM, I welcome you to our center located in the Texas Medical Center. Our faculty and staff work with stakeholders at all levels to provide an integrated approach to chronic disease prevention and control. This includes policy, program development and dissemination. I am very pleased that you have taken an interest in our work at BCM. I invite you to explore our site and read more about what we do at CDRC.
Our mission is to create collaborative, novel, issue driven research and demonstration projects. We target chronic disease prevention, translation of research into practice, and personalized medicine without increasing the disparities or inequities in the healthcare system.
