Office of Outreach and Health Disparities - Requests for Exhibits
The Office of Outreach and Health Disparities is committed to educating the community about cancer through its collaborative work in community-based organizations and through public and professional education initiatives. The OOHD has been an active partner in a wide range of programs and community events to help raise awareness about the importance of cancer prevention and early detection.
If you have a health fair or special event, such as a festival or conference, in the Houston or surrounding area, we can provide a variety or materials, such as general information about the Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center, cancer education matierals, information about upcoming center events, or real-time demonstrations of computerized educational programs. Booths or exhibits will be staffed by our bilingual center employees who will be able to answer attendees questions.
Please note that we require four weeks notice to ensure the availability of staff for any event or program.
