Admissions
Successful completion of the Nurse Anesthesia or Physician Assistant Program leads to a Master of Science degree, national certification, and state licensure.
Our students are selected from highly competitive applicant pools. Applications are received from individuals located throughout the United States.
Our admissions procedures vary by program but students are generally selected during January-March and matriculate in early July each year. Specific information on can be found on each program's site:
Accreditation
Our academic programs are nationally accredited by the following regulatory agencies:
- Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
- Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant
As an academic component of Baylor College of Medicine, Allied Health Sciences’ programs are also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, AMA/AAMC.
