Application Requirements & Process
Applicants must have an M.B.A., M.H.A., or equivalent master's degree from an accredited program in business or health care management or completion of all academic course work in anticipation of receipt of qualified degree.
Required Application Materials
- Cover letter
- One-page personal statement expressing the applicant's career goals, interest in academic medical centers, and how the applicant can contribute to Baylor College of Medicine
- Resumé or curriculum vitae
- Three letters of recommendation (at least one from current or past employer)
- All letters must have recommender's signature across back seal
- Official graduate school transcripts
For consideration, complete fellowship applications are due Oct. 12. All applicants will follow the same application and interview process. The fellowship interview process will consist of two rounds. The first round of interviews is conducted via telephone in early November. Applicants invited to a second round of interviews will interview with executive management and previous administrative fellows at the BCM campus in late November.
The BCM management team expects to select the fellows in December. Successful candidates will be expected to begin employment the following summer.
