Program Overview
The BCM Administrative Fellowship Program aims to develop new talent in health care management through observation, exchange, and hands-on experience.
The BCM administrative fellow will have the opportunity to observe, interact, and work with the college's senior administrative and clinical leadership, all of whom are leaders in their respective fields. The fellowship program provides the fellow with practical experience and leadership development through direct exposure and active participation in high level management activities at the college.
The fellow will also have the opportunity to become a member of the Texas Medical Center Administrative Fellowship Association. This association includes all administrative fellows throughout the TMC. The members of this group have traditionally met once a month for lunch and have attended meetings of each institution's executive management team. This organization is an excellent way to promote networking skills and learn about the surrounding institutions in the TMC.
