Administrative Fellowship Program
Baylor College of Medicine's Administrative Fellowship Program is open to recent graduate students with a master's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration or an equivalent master's degree from an accredited business or health care management program. The fellowship offers a graduate the opportunity to gain one year of management experience in a non-hospital based environment within one of the world's leading academic health science institutions. The fellow also will receive the opportunity to work on projects related to the construction and design of the new Baylor Hospital and Clinic.
Deadline for the BCM fellowship application is Oct. 19. The top 10 percent will participate in telephone or face-to-face interviews with various BCM management teams. Interviews will begin no later than Nov. 5 and conclude Nov. 14. Once the initial interviews are completed, several candidates will receive an invitation to participate in face-to-face interviews with prior fellows and executive management. These interviews will occur Nov. 30.
The BCM management team will select a fellow by Dec. 5. The chosen fellow will be expected to begin employment by July 2008.
