Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery is to provide an enriched environment for medical students, residents, and fellows in the areas of academics, research, and clinical medicine. Patient care is provided by specialists in the areas of sports medicine, spine, trauma, hand and upper extremity, foot and ankle, pediatrics, and total joint replacement. Clinical medicine and research is focused on prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of orthopedic disorders.
